We'll blame it on our sweet tooth...but we are absolutely obsessed with dessert-style cigars!

And there's just nothing more luscious than GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE!

It’s the ultimate decadent dessert...the crown jewel of sweets! It’s chocolatey. It’s extremely rich. And outrageously delicious! We thought it was the perfect cigar flavor profile for one of our famous “dessert-style” cigars!

We literally searched the world over for this stunning Corojo leaf for the wrapper. It's so gorgeous and silky! And it's as gorgeous as it is delicious! 

Bottom Line…the flavors in this cigar are overwhelming! The intensity of the richness and complexity are incredible! (And if you think that’s hype…just wait ‘til you smoke it for yourself!)

So here’s a couple of EXTREMELY COOL facts about this project…

#1–German Chocolate Cake was actually invented in Texas, not Germany. (Seriously, look it up.)

#2–June 11 is the official German Chocolate Cake Day!

*We didn’t know any of that when we started the GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE project several years ago! It’s like this very day and this very cigar has been orchestrated by the hand of Providence!

GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE is a full-bodied, medium-strength 6x52 toro with a broom foot. The wrapper is a 10-year-aged Corojo claro leaf. Fillers are a closely guarded secret...but all tobaccos are 8-12 years aged!

First light is a huge blast of milk chocolate, sweet cream, and baking spices. Coffee, black pepper, and vanilla bean immediately follow. The finish adds a layer of chocolate chips. The retrohale brings a warming cinnamon burn.

As it progresses, notes of caramel, light brown sugar, white oak, and buttercream frosting appear. The blend gets toastier with hints of almond, clove, and cocoa. The balance is absolute perfection!

Halfway, it gets even richer! Silky notes of white chocolate, cappuccino, whipped cream, and aged leather emerge. Toffee, cardamom, and graham cracker immediately follow.  It's actually hard to describe how deep the flavors are!

Last third, everything gets intense! Dark chocolate, whiskey barrel, and nutmeg join the mix. Creamy espresso, custard, toasted almond, and Tootsie Roll (don't know how else to describe it.) The flavors continue to layer and layer over each other. Absolutely amazing!
